The Q50 (from 2014) comes with the Infiniti Intelligent Key as standard equipment: a proximity fob, push-button start and an emergency blade hidden inside the fob.

Replacing a Q50 key

A replacement is a three-step job — cut the emergency blade, pair the fob to the car, register the new key ID so the old lost one can be voided. Done at the shop it usually takes about an hour. If the car is locked with the key inside, our lockout service opens it first.

Don’t buy a blank too fast
