Infiniti FX35 / FX45 Key Replacement (2003-2008)

The first-generation FX (FX35 / FX45, 2003-2008) mostly uses a transponder key with a built-in remote — the familiar turn-the-blade-and-press-the-buttons type. Later FX years moved toward intelligent keys.

Replacing one

Age caveat

Twenty-year-old keys wear, and worn keys damage ignition cylinders. If your FX key sticks or needs wiggling, duplicate it before it breaks: spare key service.
